About this web site and the author
I moved to St Kitts almost 2 years ago from the north of England. Semi-retirement was the idea, In fact I now work full time on the Island.
I found a welcome here and I am pleased and proud to call St Kitts my home.
I take lots of photos while scuba diving in St Kitts and I started out publishing photos on Facebook for my friends in the UK, also publishing videos on YouTube. Then I answered a couple of queries about St Kitts on Scubaboard and so the idea of a web site about diving in St Kitts was born.
When trying to assemble my resources I found that I had 100’s of uncatalogued photos so many hours were spent sorting and classifying these. I thought I could build the site in a couple of weeks, in fact it has taken me over 3 months of work!
As for the diving, I did virtually all my training in the UK and I am proud to say that I am a qualified PADI IDC Staff Instructor. I love my diving, and do not care whether the water is warm or cold or whether the vis is 3ft or 300ft. If I am in the water I am very happy indeed. I also enjoy teaching when I occasionally get the opportunity.
