| Mooring Depth | 35ft |
| Maximum Depth | 75ft |
| Best Dive Depth | 35 - 70 ft |
The Corinthian Dive Site, St Kitts, is an old tug boat that sank in 1995. It sits in 70 ft of water with its bow sloping down towards a sandy bottom. Just along this bottom is a reef system that tops out at 35 ft..
Lots of fish life on this wreck - Groupers, Parrotfish, and the usual shoals of bait fish. Watch out for Rays and Flounders in the sandy seabed.
Because of the proximity of the shallow reef right next to this wreck, this is an ideal site for a 2 dive "Wreck and Reef" outing.
Wreck of the M/S River Taw dive site, St Kitts
| Experience Level | Easy |
| Mooring Depth | 40ft |
| Maximum Depth | 45ft |
| Best Dive Depth | 40 to 45 ft |
The River Taw Wreck Dive Site, St Kitts is located just offshore of Frigate Bay. It began sinking in Basseterre harbour in 1981 and was towed to its current resting place. An Island Cargo Ship, it was originally 144 ft in length until Hurricane Hugo split it into 2 sections in 1989. Hurricane Omar passed by last year and did a little more "rearranging". The wreck now has its bow and stern sections about 50 feet apart.
This dive has to be one of the best wreck dives around. All of the decks and superstructure is covered in Sponges and Coral. Fish life is abundant. The wreck has a resident Barracuda and a very large often resident Turtle. There is an easy "swim through" for divers and enough to keep a photographer happy for ever.
The sandy bottom is a good place to spot fish life. I saw my first Flying Gurnard here, and if you follow the anchor chain it leads you to a sunken bulldozer which is abundant with small fish. Opposite the bulldozer is an old minibus which was once complete until Hurricane Omar removed the bodywork!.

The Talata Wreck Dive Site, St Kitts is an old freighter that sunk in a hurricane in 1985. It sits upright in 60 feet of water about 0.5 miles off Port Zante. The structure has partly deteriorated but large parts of the original wreck remain. The original ships gear, winches and machinery are all encrusted with sponges and corals.
You will see shoals of Yellowtail Snapper, Squirrelfish and Chromis which inhabit this wreck, along with Green Morays and Lobster.
