Nevis Dive Sites
I have not yet dived any of the sites around the Island of Nevis. These descriptions are taken from various web sources. I cannot vouch for the accuracy of these descriptions.
Devil Caves Dive Site, Nevis
Depth 40 ft
Many "swimthroughs" and overhangs in the coral make this an interesting site.
Good site for shoals of Grunts, Squirrelfish and Blue Tang
Aquarium Dive Site, Nevis
Located on the Windward side of Nevis.
Depth 65 to 100 ft
Described as a virgin dive site with a great variety of fish and good corals.
Being on the windward side of the island, this dive will be subject to rough surface conditions and currents. Does not sound like a site for anyone but an experienced diver..
The Vents Dive Site, Nevis
Located close to Pinneys Beach, Nevis
Depth 35 to 95 ft
Famous for the Black Coral trees and also the geothermal vent openings with water at 100 F coming through holes in the coral.
